Job Description

We are a boutique law firm focused on employment law. We are seeking a legal assistant / paralegal. A formal paralegal certificate is not required, though it can certainly be beneficial. Pay range depending on experience, with opportunities to grow over time.

Duties include:

--Intake. Speaking with potential clients, gathering information related to their need, and creating a good record for attorney review;

--Drafting demand letters, charges of discrimination, complaints, and other legal pleadings;

--Preparing discovery requests and responses;

--Calculating and recording important deadlines;

--Being primary point of contact with clients.

Key skills include:

--Strong writing skills, with strong attention to detail;

--Customer service skills, with ability to communicate well with individuals in a difficult situation;

--Organization skills, with ability to handle numerous different matters, track deadlines, track tasks, etc.

--Bilingual speakers valued
