ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

KIOTI Tractor is the U.S. subsidiary of Daedong Corporation specializing in the distribution of high quality tractors, UTVs, zero turn mowers, attachments and implements. Since its establishment in 1993, KIOTI has experienced rapid growth as a result of its unique ability to facilitate responsive engineering and production of KIOTI products specifically designed to meet the growing needs of North American equipment users.

Today, KIOTI Tractor sells its products through an expanding KIOTI dealer network of more than 500 dealerships located throughout North America. To assist with this, we have a strategically positioned U.S. warehouse distribution system and its streamlined parts, service and fulfillment center located in Wendell, North Carolina.

This will be an onsite position in Wendell, NC, with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

JOB SUMMARY

KIOTI Tractor, a leader in the design and manufacture of compact tractors, utility vehicles, turf care, and compact construction equipment, is seeking a Jr. Product Line Manager (Tractor) to join their team onsite in Wendell, NC. The Jr. Product Line Manager will be an energetic, passionate, and driven individual responsible for establishing and growing the compact tractor division at KIOTI Tractor. This position will work with Executives, Sales, Marketing, and Product Support teams to establish KIOTI’s sales channels and product strategies to drive the sales growth and achievement of company objectives for the compact tractor division. This industry expert will also be responsible for establishing a product road map and sales strategy for new dealers in the tractor industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

  • Assist the Product Line Manager to establish and identify market opportunities and strategies to ensure the competitiveness of KIOTI products
  • Evaluate current product development pipeline to maximize sales and share growth opportunities
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to establish sales channels and set growth goals
  • Work with engineering and product development to define, develop and release new products based on market needs
  • Develop and periodically update and maintain data templates for sales team and dealers
  • Participate in local and national trade shows to promote compact tractor products and increase brand awareness
  • Assist KIOTI University in creating training materials to be delivered to dealers and KIOTI sales personnel on tractor products
  • Develop and deliver product presentations at trade shows and corporate events
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors and clients, and participate in contract development and negotiations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed.

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of related business experience in tractor, ground care, compact construction or OPE industry
  • 2-3 years of experience in product development, engineering, or product marketing.
  • Experience with various software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of CRM and ERP tools desired.
  • Ability to independently plan and prioritize multiple projects with attention to detail and work collaboratively across functional areas
  • Approximately 20% travel required
  • Ability to build relationships and skillful in collaborating between interdepartmental personnel
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
  • Proficient with collection, analysis, and presentation of industry data and company performance in a concise, actionable format.
  • Ability to manage business processes and troubleshoot issues that may arise
