Job Description

Optomi, in partnership with a fast-growing, forward-thinking company transforming the construction project management industry, is seeking a Manual QA Tester to join their team on a full-time (40 hours a week) basis!

Location: Dunwoody, GA (Hybrid – Onsite 2+ days/week)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary Target: $60,000 – $70,000 annually

We're looking for a meticulous Manual QA Tester to help ensure the continued reliability and usability of our powerful and complex UI.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment and make a direct impact on product quality and user experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, particularly UI and regression testing.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with QA best practices, software development life cycles, and test planning.
  • Experience using test and issue tracking tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing complex web applications.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools.
  • Familiarity with accessibility and usability standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct manual regression testing on a dynamic web-based platform before each release.
  • Execute detailed test cases and report issues with clear, reproducible steps.
  • Update and maintain test case documentation to reflect ongoing product changes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand new features and define test coverage.
  • Participate in release readiness meetings, highlighting potential risks and gaps in testing.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability concerns.
  • Log and track bugs through resolution using tools like JIRA , GitHub , and Testmo .
  • Communicate findings and feedback clearly to expedite issue resolution.
