Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager – Energy Sector

📍 Location: Jacksonville, FL

💼 Full-Time | On-site/Hybrid

💰 Salary Range: $135,000 – $155,000 + Annual Bonus & Benefits

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join their finance team as a leading energy company in Jacksonville. This strategic role will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to support key business decisions and drive performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Analyze financial results, identify key trends and variances, and deliver clear insights to executive leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and corporate finance to develop data-driven strategies
  • Create and maintain complex financial models to support capital planning, cost optimization, and investment decisions
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and provide regular reporting packages to stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in planning and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA or CPA/CFA preferred)
  • 5–8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Adaptive Insights is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and business acumen
