Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Yard Truck Driver (Class A CDL) / Warehouse Associate to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently and safely move trailers and other equipment around the yard using a yard truck. The ideal candidate will also assist with warehouse duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a yard truck to move trailers and equipment within the yard.
• Ensure trailers are accurately positioned for loading and unloading.
• Conduct daily safety checks on the yard truck and report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and shipping/receiving docks.
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing inventory.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• 2-3 years of experience operating a yard truck or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance checks on equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to handle warehouse duties, including lifting and moving objects.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
