WHO we’re looking for:
We are looking for a UX Researcher III who will be responsible for joining a cross-disciplinary team of product managers, designers, user researchers, writers, and software engineers to help users become more aware of and proactive about improving their health. This role will include working on innovative SaMD/health applications, from concept to launch, by using a variety of research methodologies, such as in-depth interviews, usability testing, observation, and contextual inquiry to provide high-quality research with impactful recommendations. We use an iterative research and design approach in the lab and thus the ideal candidate will feel comfortable with running multiple studies with a healthy dose of ambiguity. Our team’s iterative approach is fast-paced and we are responsible for using the data collected and insights found to help answer the team’s questions, reduce ambiguity, and drive the design and product direction towards successful product release.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to run a study from end-to-end: to align on study goals with various stakeholders, execute remote and/or in-person studies, and analyze data to write and present a report that is easy for diverse stakeholders to consume with relevant, actionable, and succinct recommendations.

While performing the duties of this job, the contract employee is occasionally required to stand, clean, crawl, kneel, sit, sort, hold, squat, stoop, stand, twist the body, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders and scaffolding, talk or hear, and lift up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
