Job Title: UX Designer
Location: Hybrid (Denver Metro Area) – In-office at least 1 day per week (RiNo neighborhood)
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay range : $75k–$95k per year

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Prototyping
- Design user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
- Confidently use advanced features like auto layout, component variants, libraries, and asset management.
- Contribute to and maintain our internal design system for scalable and consistent design.
User-Centered Problem Solving
- Engage directly with users and internal teams to understand pain points and discover root issues.
- Translate feedback and qualitative data into actionable design improvements.
- Balance empathy with analytical thinking to solve complex UX challenges.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to bring ideas to life.
- Understand how React-based components are built and how designs transition from Figma to code.
- Contribute scrappy, technically-informed ideas to enhance UX—such as A/B tests, tracking integrations, or use of open-source tools.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
- Stay curious and engaged with new tools, patterns, and UX trends.
- Suggest smart enhancements to improve user experience across products.
- Help elevate design quality and culture across the team.
- Approaches feedback—whether positive or critical—as a tool for growth and is able to iterate quickly based on input from diverse stakeholders.
Who You Are:
- Has a bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field required. Equivalent practical experience may be considered for exceptional candidates.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset through continuous learning, user feedback integration, and iterative design improvements.
- 2+ years of proven experience in a UX, product design, or operations role within a company.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, especially with design systems. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their skills as part of the interview process through a hands-on exercise and/or portfolio review.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and naturally inquisitive—you pull threads until you get to the core problem.
- Technically fluent enough to understand the DOM, how React components function, and how engineers build from designs.
- Open to experimentation and quick iterations using technical tools and data-driven insights.
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, particularly when working with product managers, developers, and other designers.
- Highly responsive and able to provide timely input, as project timelines, agile sprints, and user feedback loops often depend on quick, clear communication.
- Receptive to transparent feedback and values open communication, with a team-oriented mindset and an understanding that all contributions align toward a shared goal: improving and simplifying the customer experience.
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance and have reliable transportation to be in-office at least 1 day per week.
Portfolio Requirements
Your portfolio should demonstrate:
- End-to-end product thinking, including problem discovery, user insights, and iteration.
- Well-structured UX flows and rationale behind design decisions.
- High-fidelity UI examples with the use of Figma components and design systems.
- Collaboration across disciplines—include examples where you worked closely with PMs, engineers, or data teams.
- (Optional) Include case studies that highlight outcomes, metrics, or learnings.
What This Role Does Not Include:
- Visual design work that lacks a systems thinking approach.
- Full-scale front-end development (but you should understand how your work connects to it).
