Full time- Trauma Clinician, Adults.

Center Psychotherapy is a thriving group practice focusing on trauma healing and recovery for adults, teens, and families. Center Psychotherapy expanded to a group practice in 2019 to meet the demand for providing high-quality trauma treatment services while also offering a supportive and collaborative learning environment for clinicians. We strive to ensure that all of our clinicians are culturally competent and incorporate a cultural lens into treatment with clients.

Located in Arlington and Winchester, we currently have 13 therapists on our Clinical team and comprehensive administrative support.

 

Job Details:

Center Psychotherapy believes that trauma recovery and healing happens through the integration of humanist, client-centered modalities with interventions that meet each individual client’s needs. We are looking to bring on a licensed or licensed-eligible therapist onto our team who can use this treatment lens to work with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma.

Full-time therapists at Center Psychotherapy are expected to maintain an average caseload of 25 clients/week, with the caseload building over time to full-time capacity.

Job Duties:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinician with experience working with childhood trauma. At this time, the responsibilities of a Licensed Clinician include:

  • Perform on-site and/or teletherapy trauma-informed care to adults who have experienced trauma.
  • Complete session notes, treatment plans, and other clinical paperwork in a timely fashion in EHR.
  • Formulate DSM 5 diagnoses, when needed and/or when appropriate.
  • Consult with other clinicians and/or health care providers when necessary.
  • Consult with other professionals, such as psychiatrists, who may be part of the client's treatment team, when necessary.
  • Maintain communication & written records in a timely fashion.
  • Attend required group supervision and staff meetings.
  • Provide excellent clinical care.
  • Contribute to the team environment and participate in growth-oriented practice culture.

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are desired for this role:

  • Master’s Degree or Doctorate in social work, counseling, or psychology (required).
  • Current Massachusetts license as a D., PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
  • Willing and able to work at least 30 hours per week or more.
  • Willing and able to work some evenings and/or weekends.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience post-graduate degree.
  • Independent, driven, and collaborative.
  • Paneled with BCBS, Optum a plus.
  • Caseload and schedule will vary depending on the needs of clients and practice.


In addition to excellent clinical skills, therapists who are self-directed yet team-oriented, eager to grow and develop their clinical skills, and supportive of other team members will be most successful at Center Psychotherapy.

Compensation:

The Licensed Clinician position will be employee status. Compensation will be a hourly rate compensation structure commensurate with experience and caseload.
