About The Department
The Retail and HR Strategy group is a community of 50+ analysts with a variety of strategic, analytical, and technical skillsets. We work together to continually improve CarMax’s customer and associate experience that allows us to sell over 750,000 vehicles annually to retail customers. The retail automotive ecosystem has been shifting towards eCommerce, consolidation & digitization since COVID, so our efforts take place in partnership with the Product, Technology, and Operational organizations, and affect CarMax.com, our customer experience centers, our digital communications, our sales consultant workforce, and our business offices.
About The Role
As a Senior Manager, Strategy and Analytics, you will lead a team of strategy analysts to help set the vision and direction of the Sales organization. This is a critical and highly influential role within the retail operations organization that affords an analytic and strategic thinker the opportunity to shape and implement CarMax’s omni-channel digital transformation to disrupt the industry and change how consumers buy a car. That successful transformation would result in both a seamless handoff from our digital experience, as well as driving a great in-store car shopping experience regardless of how much work the customer has done online.

Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Richmond, VA Office and has a Hybrid work arrangement.
