As a Spa Desk Agent at El Encanto, a Belmond Hotel, you are part of a team that enhances the guest experience through personalized handling of appointment requests. In this role, you will ensure the key standards of Belmond are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day. Requirements:
Input and access data in the computer and become proficient with Spa Software.
· Understand guest inquiries and provide responses.
· Promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa Desk and by telephone.
· Remain professional and courteous with demanding or difficult guests or situations, in order to turn them to the positive.
· Focus on the guest needs remaining calm and courteous.
· Think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions.
· Ensure security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
· Work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
· Memorize the spa menu and be able to speak in depth about services performed, products used and the amenities of the spa facility.
· Learn all spa products used both in backbar and in retail and be able to answer product-related questions from guests.
· Use utilities and resources in a responsible manner to control wastage.
· Communicate relevant information to the department, your line manager and across departments, as appropriate.
· Comply with safe working practices, Health and Safety policy and ensure accidents/defects are reported immediately.
· Attend learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules, as required.
· Demonstrate and be a role model of Belmond’s core values of Care, Confidence, Curiosity and Community.
