Portfolio Manager – Global Futures & Options (Fixed Income & Energy)

Location: North America - based (remote or onsite in major financial hubs)

Comp: up to $200k + 60% profit split (subject to sharpe ratio)

The Opportunity

Own and scale a systematic book across energy (Brent, WTI, refined products) and fixed income futures/options. You’ll have the freedom to run your playbook—directional, RV, vol—while leveraging a mature stack (research clusters, FPGA-enabled execution, CME/ICE connectivity) and a culture that prizes fast iteration, risk discipline, and steady compounding.

What You’ll Do

• Design, deploy, and manage futures/options strategies (HFT through mid-frequency) in energy and rates.
• Build/maintain alpha pipelines: signal research, backtests, market sims, and productionization.
• Optimize execution (slippage, impact, venue selection) using low-latency tooling and post-trade analytics.
• Partner with quants/engineers to extend data, features, and infra; contribute to the expanding options business.

What You Bring

• Track record: Consistent risk-adjusted returns; evidence of 50-100%+ annualized return on margin capital, Sharpe 4–6, and tight drawdown control.
• Domain depth: Energy and/or rates microstructure; comfort with outright, spreads, and vol structures.
• Research & build: Strong empirical approach (Python/C++/SQL; factor/ML/optimization) and production mindset.
• Execution focus: Experience with low-latency workflows, smart order routing, and venue microstructure.
• Mindset: Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and adaptable to a customization-friendly stack.

Platform & Tools

• Research: High-performance clusters for backtesting, signal discovery, and market simulations.
• Execution: Proprietary + best-in-class systems across major venues (e.g., CME, ICE); FPGA support for ultra-low latency execution.
• Culture: High trust, high autonomy; fast decisions; performance over pedigree.

• Flexible, performance-linked payouts ~up to 60% of P&L (calibrated to infra usage and contribution).
