Job Title

About your role:
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Mainframe Application Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you'll do:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience in COBOL, Assembler, CICS, or similar programming languages
• 3+ years of experience in SQL databases
• 3+ years of experience in MQ services
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience in the financial services industry
