About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator to join our team in Florida. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial drywall projects, supporting project teams with cost analysis, and ensuring that estimates align with company goals for profitability and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed drywall estimates.
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for drywall, framing, ceilings, and related scopes.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Prepare and present bid proposals in a clear, professional format.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to confirm scope, budget, and schedule alignment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, material costs, and industry trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a drywall estimator in the commercial construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings, and related systems.
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, OST, or similar).
• Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams.
