Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive EHS Manager to lead all Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing robust safety programs in a plant-based manufacturing environment .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the site’s EHS programs with a strong focus on employee safety, compliance, and injury prevention
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and training programs
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, safety inspections, and accident investigations
• Drive a culture of safety awareness and accountability across all plant operations
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for EHS incidents
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate hazards
• Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reports, and records in line with company and legal standards
• Serve as the site’s primary contact for external EHS inspections and audits
• Lead emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness programs
• Track and analyze EHS metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in a plant manufacturing environment (required)
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and industry best practices
• Demonstrated success in creating and leading safety initiatives and training programs
• Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence all levels of the organization
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, CIH) are a plus
