Editorial Research and Fact-Check Coordinator, Leadership Programs, 2208-1
The Leadership Programs team within Talent creates immersive learning experiences for leaders from across the company to deepen their understanding of our business, discuss key business challenges, and explore the values they bring to their leadership.
Position Overview
· The Editorial Research and Fact-Check Coordinator will fact-check, research, and write to support the seminars for Leadership Programs. This role ensures editorial integrity and content readiness by verifying information and supporting the research needs of writers, editors, and producers. This role is key to delivering accurate, timely, and engaging content across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Fact-Checking
· Verify factual accuracy, source credibility, and consistency for all editorial and visual content prior to publication
· Cross-reference facts with reputable primary and secondary sources
· Flag inaccuracies, outdated information, or unsupported claims for editorial revision
· Maintain and update style guidelines for sourcing and verification
· Must have strong business acumen / and or experience in business news
· Writing and Coordination
· Recommend stories or off-the-shelf content for seminars based on content gaps or seminar briefs
· Coordinate with the editors, production, and video team members to ensure timely delivery of assets that are accurate
· Edit and write updates to content, working in coordination with the team of editors
· Research Support
· Conduct in-depth research on assigned topics to support story development and long-form features
· Prepare research briefs with key facts, statistics, quotes, and background context for editorial use
· Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging topics for potential coverage
· Maintain organized research archives and databases
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
· 2–4 years of experience in fact-checking, research, or editorial coordination
· Strong understanding of journalistic ethics, sourcing, and editorial standards
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
· Strong business acumen and fluency in business terms, concepts, and financial language
· Ability to quickly understand and interpret charts, data and graphs, and explain them to non-experts
· Comfortable analyzing and synthesizing lengthy documents, like SEC filings, regulatory reports, and earnings transcripts
· Advanced proficiency in online research tools, academic databases, and content management systems
· Ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data with precision
· Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in research or fact-checking within an editorial team, ideally across digital, print, audio, or video publishing.
· Experience in data visualization (strongly preferred) and other storytelling techniques that translate complex business information into easy-to-understand graphics and charts.
· Familiarity with AP Style or similar editorial style guides.

Pay Rate Range:
· $45-60/hr.
