Summary of Driver position:
Action Truck Parts is looking for an individual with the ability to efficiently, effectively, and safely, drive parts with pride in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities of Driver position:
• Delivers and picks up product as assigned by dispatcher
• Ensures proper and accurate handling of related paperwork
• Handles product loading, unloading, rearranging, etc. as required by Action policies and customer locations
• Performs complete vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensures driver route sheets and inspection logs are accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner
Job Requirements of Driver position:
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
• Physically capable of moving, bending, stretching, lifting, climbing, etc.
• Sound ability read maps, utilize cell phone, and GPS
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of addresses, delivery instructions and orders
• Ability to work positively and effectively in a fast-paced, changing priority, environment
• Promotes and maintains a positive customer focused attitude
• Able to work cohesively and efficiently with a team
