• Rodeo is on a mission to help friends be better friends with their friends by finding good times for good times.
• We’re an experienced team with deep 0-1 social experience (Hinge, Facebook, Duolingo) and we enjoy working together in Soho.
• Our product is invite-only, and hard launching this year.

About You

• ~5 years experience as a marketing manager and/or community lead.
• Leads projects and programs autonomously (but also collaboratively) that deliver great, measurable outcomes.
• Passionate about engaging with customers online and IRL.
• Unafraid to do the unscalable, while solving for the scalable.
• A movement builder to the core.

• Cultivate thousands of early evangelists to support product development and go-to-market strategies.

Recruit → Engage ↔ Extract Insights

Recruit:

• Understand Rodeo’s target audience (planner friends) including where to reach them and with what messaging.
• Execute campaigns, tactics, partnerships and growth hacks to source hundreds of users to download an invite-only beta.
• Inform our social strategy and create content for a variety of channels.

Engage:

• Create an active community of users who are bought into Rodeo’s mission and vision.
• Provide a whiteglove experience for users with high touch onboarding and support.
• Host in-person events using Rodeo’s platform.

Extract Insights:

• Level up the team’s understand and empathy for ‘the planner friend.’
• Conduct focus groups and 1-1 interviews with top beta users and summarize insights.
• Dive deep on competitors and other social apps for inspiration.
