Title: Assistant Buyer

Location: Middlesex County, NJ

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000

Company Profile: A leading consumer products manufacturer is looking for an Assistant Buyer who will support the Senior Buyer and cross-functional teams. This role will be responsible for supporting communication with the vendors, warehousing, and logistics teams. You will also be responsible for managing the website & digital content as well as the E-commerce support for one of their biggest wholesalers. The Assistant Buyer Will be Responsible for the Following:

• Track and update all product development tasks
• Follow up with in-house R&D and external app development teams for accurate timelines
• Review the website weekly and follow up with developers
• Update sales forecasting sheets monthly with recent data to support planning
• Enter and track POs, IRs, and RTVs in systems
• Communicate with vendors, the warehouse team, and logistics to resolve product or shipment issues

The Assistant Buyer Should have the Following Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Understanding of inventory management using online marketplaces and channels (Amazon is a PLUS)
• Ability to use software for product listing edits if needed

This is a full time 5x onsite position primarily based in Middlesex County, NJ.
